Sanford Bennett.

     Ellenville, Oct. 9--Sanford Bennett, formerly of Ulster Heights, died
at the home of his son, on the East Side of this village, on Friday evening, October 6, from general debility, at the age of 75 years.
     Mr. Bennett was a veteran of the Civil War, and had spent the greater part of his life at his home in Ulster Heights, coming to Ellenville a few years ago and making his home with his son, at whose residence he died.
     The funeral will be held at the home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and the interment made in the cemetery in Ulster Heights.
