Elihu Slover, 82, Venice, died March 13, 2003
He was born Aug. 27, 1920 in Middletown, NY. He came to Venice 10 years ago from Orchard Park, NY. He owned and operated a trucking company in New York. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post 159, both in Venice, and the Retired Public Employees Association.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years Mildred; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Cragg of Bethpage, NY; and a stepson, Howard Cragg of Bethpage.
Private graveside services will be in Venice Memorial Gardens. Ewing Funeral Home is in charge.
